B.042 − Food Service Staff
FLSA STATUS:
Non-Exempt
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School Diploma
2. Valid Driver’s License
3. Food Service experience desirable
4. Physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop
5. Valid Food Handler’s card
6. Demonstrates aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
7. Basic cooking and cleaning skills
8. Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
9. {Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Governing Board may find appropriate and acceptable}
REPORTS TO:
Food Service Director
JOB GOAL:
Provide each student with food of high nutritious quality in an atmosphere of cleanliness, cheerfulness, and personal caring.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Understands and complies with all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, directives, assignments and training programs
2. Ensures all food are prepared and served according to recipes, production records, cooking and serving standards.
3. Maintains a clean and safe work area
4. Dates and stores deliveries, rotates stock using First In First Out
5. Sweeps and mops floors as needed
6. Removes trash
7. Follows all local and District health regulations
8. Completes production records immediately following food service
9. Completes daily Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points logs according to log instruction
10. Completes freezer, walk-in, milk boxes and store room logs; twice daily
11. Performs other job-related duties as assigned
